What are Norfolk Grills made of?
Most Norfolk Grills are stainless steel or powder coated (or enamel coated) steel, depending on the model. Many models have cast iron grates.
What fuel can be used?
This depends on the model: On this particular model; Absolute & Absolute Pro - Gas (electric for lights and fridge)
How do I light the barbeque?
All gas and electric models have electronic ignitions.
How should the Grills be cleaned?
“Burning off” the grill after every use for approximately 15 minutes will keep excessive food residue to a minimum. Outside surfaces can be cleaned with a mild detergent, or baking soda and hot water solution.
Do not use abrasive scourers. The inside surface of the lid may have the appearance of peeling paint. This is baked on grease build-up that has turned to carbon and is flaking off, and is not a manufacturing fault.
Clean thoroughly with a hot soapy water solution. Rinse with water and allow to completely dry. NEVER USE OVEN CLEANER The bottom of the interior can be scraped or brushed to remove residue and then washed with soapy water.
Rinse and allow to dry. Cooking racks are cleaned using mild soapy water and a non-abrasive scouring pad. Rinse and allow to dry. Wipe over the stainless steel surface with rust resistant oil. Please note that grates are not dishwasher safe.
Do I need to use the protection cover?
Yes. This will help prevent weathering and dirt/debris soiling the exterior. Ensure the grill is thoroughly cool and dry before covering. Turn off the gas supply at the gas cylinder after each use and before covering. Please note that the warranty is not valid if the grill is not assembled, stored, protected by a Norfolk Grills protection cover or serviced appropriately.
What should I do if I smell gas?
If you can smell gas check for leaks using the following information: ⇒ Turn off gas supply at the gas cylinder valve ⇒ Extinguish all naked flames; do not operate any electrical appliances. ⇒ Ventilate the area. ⇒ Check for leaks (see below)
How do I check for leaks?
⇒ Turn off the gas supply at the gas cylinder valve. ⇒ Ensure the control valve is OFF. ⇒ Connect the regulator to the cylinder and ON/OFF valve to the burner, ensuring the connections are secure then turn ON the gas. ⇒ Brush the soapy water onto the hose and all joints. If bubbles appear you have a leak, which must be rectified before use. Retest after fixing the fault. ⇒ If leakage is detected again and cannot be rectified. Do not attempt to cure leakage but consult your supplier.
Are Norfolk Grills accessories available?

What is the optimum temperature range for the Absolute Kitchen fridge?
The optimum ambient temperature range for the Absolute Kitchen fridge is 0-43°C. Within this range, the interior temperature will be 0-10°C. If the ambient temperature is below 0°C, we suggest that the fridge is not plugged in. An ambient temperature above 43°C will mean that the fridge works at a higher temperature accordingly
